Czech plastics and rubber machinery producer Boco Pardubice Machines has leased 1,500 square metres of production and office space in TechnoPark Pardubice, in the Czech Republic’s north, to expand its activities, real estate company Jones Lang Lasalle (JLL) said in a statement.
“The company will develop and test new production technologies for the processing of plastics components in the newly leased premises. This will create up to 10 new highly qualified jobs,” the statement said.
The Czech company manufactures a wide range of extrusion lines for pipe and profile production. It also sells equipment from other machinery manufacturers, including injection moulding machines produced by Japanese company JSW.
“JLL assisted Boco in finding a suitable space for their new testing centre for the plastic components production in Pardubice. After an initial thorough analysis of the options offered in the city of Pardubice and its surroundings, the company chose TechnoPark located in the city industrial zone in Staré ?ivice," said Miroslav Kotek, senior consultant at JLL. “The premises will also serve as a showroom for Boco’s new customers from all over the world.”
The amount of the deal was not disclosed by the manufacturer.
Boco is based in ?epí, in the country’s northern part. The firm was set up in 1994, and it is operated by about 100 employees.
